"A benevolent God deserves a benevolent faith."

About Us

Benevolent Faith Ministries, LLC ("BF Ministries"), is a non-profit ministry outreach organization whose mission is to "promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ through devoted and diligent servanthood to others." Our primary goal is to facilitate community outreach by servicing and ministering the Gospel to often-neglected Believers (e.g., nursing home and sick and shut in ministries) as well as potential new Believers (e.g., prison ministries, evangelism, community Bible studies, youth groups, etc.).

Jesus told His Disciples that "the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." (Matt. 20:28) His position can be summed up in two words:  serve and give.  These are the mandates of the Believer.  While we are aware of our responsibility to give financially (tithe), we must also be cognizant of our duty to give of ourselves...namely, our TIME, which is one of our most valuable assets.  To that end, it is our responsibility to see that the under-served are being acknowledged, cared for and ministered to effectively.  The downtrodden of society are powerless to help themselves in certain instances...in the spirit of fellowship, it's the responsibility of the conscious Believer to ensure that these forgotten people are made to feel that they matter and that there are those in society who haven't forgotten them and that they require dignity, not indignation.  Indeed, the Apostle Paul charges us with such care:

"Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor." - Romans 12:10

That's who WE are:  BF Ministries is dedicated to serving those who are under-served.  As our motto dictates, "a benevolent God deserves a benevolent faith".  As Believers, if we are to walk like Christ, then we must mimic Him in ALL respects, not just the ones we conveniently favor. One of His greatest mandates was to love others as your love yourself.  God is SO good to us all the time, so forgiving, so patient, so caring....doesn't HIS benevolence towards us demand that we, at the VERY LEAST, show the same type of benevolence towards others?

Contact us for prayer requests, testimonial submissions, bible study group participation requests....wherever the Spirit of the Lord requires a fervent heart of servanthood, Benevolent Faith Ministries will seek to be there, working on behalf of God's people!

The mission statement of BF Ministries is to "promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ through devoted and diligent servanthood to others."  As such, we believe that ministering to the many and varied needs of our communities is one of the most effective ways which we can go about facilitating such servanthood.

See, we believe that Christian Outreach is about GOD....not us.  God provided for the salvation of the world through Jesus' death on the cross (John 3:16);  God is the One who seeks and saves (Lk. 19:10), revealing Himself to people (Matt. 11:27; 16:15-17), and drawing people to Himself (Jn. 6:44).  If God did not do the seeking, saving, revealing, and drawing of people to Himself, all of our outreach efforts would be meaningless and fruitless.

It is GOD who initiates the outreach process...not us.  He does this by:

- assuring people of the reality of His love so people can feel and experience for themselves

- answering their doubts so people can know and believe

- awakening their faith so people hear and respond as "faith comes by hearing"

- authenticating His message of reconciliation so people see and become accountable

As Believers and, thus, workers in His Kingdom, we are simply His facilitators through which that earthly "hands-on" work is carried out.  But it's always His GRACE and MERCY which allows us to do so.

Types of Outreach Ministries

Look...no single Believer, congregation or organization can provide every type of outreach ministry. In His wisdom, God has uniquely gifted His body of Believers with those who excel in particular types of outreach.  Scripture is clear about the various ways that Believers can reach out in ministry to others and, to that end, BF Ministries provides outreach services in the following areas:

  • Evangelism Outreach Ministries:  BF Ministries is committed to telling others about Jesus Christ (1 Peter 3:15-16).  Outreach ministers of the Gospel are fully trained and prepared to minister the Word where the Spirit leads.  Mobile Church, our set of special outreach study sessions  hether in the capacity of preaching, teaching small groups or conducting Bible study sessions.

  • Nursing Home/Senior Adult Ministries: All Believers are called to care for their older members ("Do not cast me off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength is spent." Psalm 71:9).  At BF Ministries, senior saints hold a special place in our hearts.  Our ministers provide in-home visitation, hospital visitation, holiday outreach activities, and many more services to benefit those who often feel isolated or alone, and who society often disregards.

  • Outreach Ministries to the Under-Served:  Jesus said, “Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me’” (Matthew 25:37-40). Ministry to the “least of these” must be part of every Believer’s outreach, and we take no exception to that ideal.  We participate in everything from volunteer soup kitchen ministries, free community lunches and holiday dinner servings, to organizing public fitness sessions (e.g., in local parks, with a personal trainer) and assistance with professional development  (e.g., creating resumes, providing job referrals).

  • Youth and Young Adult Outreach Ministries: Teenagers and college-age students represent a strategic ministry opportunity and in turn can serve as ministers and missionaries to others.  BF Ministries is committed to mentoring and training the young leaders of tomorrow by providing them with solid Biblical foundations to navigate today's social climate.

  • Prison Outreach Ministries:  we provide outreach to the incarcerated and their family members (all security clearance issues will be addressed)

  • Military Outreach Ministries: we provide outreach to those who serve in the armed forces and their family members.

  • Disability Outreach Ministries: while all Believers are called to minister to those in physical need, serving those affected by disability provides life-changing help to those often neglected by others.  We are committed to this type of ministry.

  • World Mission Outreach Ministries: (COMIMG SOON).  Every Believer is called to reach out beyond its local community to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20).

At BF Ministries, we take very seriously the call to verbally share the Gospel and to reach out beyond our comfort levels and serve those in need.  While our many methods may vary, the message is unchanging: Jesus Christ died for sinners, He rose again, and He lives today.

BF Ministries provides free bible study courses under a wide array of topics and subjects.  Many Christians mistakenly feel that their days of studying the Bible, hearing the stories, and discussing their implications are reserved for their years in Sunday school. But the truth couldn’t be more opposite to that position: once we’ve left Sunday school and made the transition to ‘big people’s church’ do we truly know or understand what’s being preached from the pulpit? What about those who come to Christ later in life? Can they be fed spiritually only through the sermon on Sunday morning, or does God want something more for us? Ask yourselves….could our bodies survive with having only Sunday breakfast, and nothing else to eat that entire week?

BF Ministries believes that the purpose of Bible study is to collectively grasp an understanding of God through His Word. We work to achieve this through the use of inductive Bible study. Inductive Bible study is a means of studying and interpreting a biblical passage. It involves examining the ideas and words of the text, which leads to the meanings and then the interpretations, which in turn lead the reader to conclusions and applications. With our inductive bible studies, the reader will read a passage and then will answer questions about how they personally interpret the verse(s). These questions can range from what the verse(s) literally means to how it applies to the believer's present personal circumstances. The purpose of these questions is to go deep enough into the text to extract the meaning and then to apply that gained knowledge to life.

In addition, the association of Bible study and prayer is an important one. Christians do not merely study the Bible as an academic discipline, but with the desire to know God better. Therefore, they frequently pray that God will give them understanding of the passage being studied. They also consider it necessary to consider what they read with an attitude of respect, rather than the critical attitude which is frequently followed in formal study.

At BF Ministries, we believe that the Bible is not just a sacred book, but is the very Word of God…..that is, a message from God which has direct relevance to our daily lives.
